In January 2007, the founder of Corbo Inc Engineering, Philippe Cormier, launched an animation studio that originally specialized in the creation of architectural animation and visuals.

A couple of years later, the studio was generating enough business to stand on its own and now provides a variety of services in 2-D and 3-D animation under the name of Renar Animation.
